iphemy was born inside a youth-serving behavioral health organization — tracking CPR cards on sticky notes, teacher licenses in spreadsheets, and background-check dates in a calendar that only one person knew how to read.
One truth kept surfacing: a lapsed credential is never just paperwork. It's a staff member who can't be on the floor, a licensing visit that goes sideways, funding put at risk. So we built the tool we always wished we'd had.
What we store
Employee names and roles, credential names, expiration dates, reminder schedules, uploaded certificates, and compliance status. That's the whole list.
What we never store
No patient, client, or child data. No Social Security numbers. No background-check reports — the date only; your screening vendor keeps the report. No medical records. No payroll data.
This is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation. Keeping sensitive data out of iphemy keeps your data footprint small, your risk low, and your compliance posture simple.
